The Tableau

Milking this morning I noticed the tableau. Clouds shrouded the top of the mountain, and a light fog lay just above where the creek runs. The mountains are not brightly colored this year but muted, still beautiful without being showy. The ground looks like a multicolored carpet with the leaves that have already fallen. I love the fall. I love these mountains.
