Dancing with Wu Li

Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.
After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water.

Wishing you insight on the darkest night, and lots of chopping and carrying afterward.

May the new solar year bring you . . . everything you bring yourself.

Chop wood, carry water, that's for sure. No matter what else is going on, the physical stuff is still there to keep us anchored and sane.

I read on the Blogger site that they've fixed the problem of not being able to comment. We'll see.

well, I did cut down a tree yesterday, not much enlightenment, that must come when you get to watch it burn, contemplation in the flames. unfortunatley I have no house fire so the trunk lies behind the shed to become an insect haven.
many blessings for the holiday season and the coming new year.

Sucking in the cold air I remember carrying water. I stayed once with a friend whos house was lit by candles and water was pumped from an old-fashioned water pump. I never regret the chances I have had for air work. Reality appreciated.

Walter, I'm sorry but you really don't get it. But we do hope to soon kill our intact boar hog which is at least party due to your reporting your experiments with intact hogs. Happy and brave one to you (and all of you!) too.
