A Week Ago, Snow on Violets

And snow on clover and plantain too. Today is sunny and relatively warm, with a breeze to dry things off. I loved it when I walked out and saw that snow though -- it looked like little hats on the tufts of grass -- the ground already Spring warm so it melted low and sat only up high.
